A theory as to why
It's the Z not liking your shoes.
Switch shoes and you may find that the Z does not hate you any longer.
Seriously:
my wife says, it only happens to her when she is wearing her high heels, and it doesn't when she is wearing sneakers.
Not sure if this is just my Z's reaction to high heels or whether it really has to do with what kind of shoe sole you have.
Might be worth a try...

You know, I've been seeing threads about this since I first joined the forum. We use to have two Zs, an '03 and an '05, and never got shocked. Last Saturday, we bought an '06, and on Sunday it shocked me!!! I think it did it because it was sad that I stopped driving it.

Yeah like Fatboy1 says.... Buy staticguard or, use Scotchguard on the seats if you have cloth seats. The Scotchguard solved the problem for me and it protected the seats for stains as well.
