Default "Bang for the Buck" mods....

Ok So It's winter and my Z is sleeping in the garage. Time to go shopping!!!

So I was thinking about some nice inexpensive "Bang for the Buck" mods besides a cat-back exhaust and intake.

So list up what you feel are some good "Bang for the Buck" mods that will give the increse in HP/TQ.

Plenum/Spacer is about $300+ ish...10-15hp increase.
High-Flow Cats...$300ish...10hp or so.

Any other bolt on's...I can't really think of much besides Nos....

I just got my 2006 GT Roadster and I love it.

I've been thinking about the Cat-Back Exhaust, is it worth it? What next?

It depends on which catback exhaust...
i'd do some extensive research before buying just any catbacks.

I was thinking Revup lower plemum, copper isotherm, and 5/16" spacer.

+1 on N20 you will be perfect with either a 75 or 100 dry shot nitrious system!! I would go with ZEX the entire kit with window switch and all will be close to 800

Anything over 75 I would go wet. Not many people run dry shots on the Z anyway....

+1 and add the pop-charger to that list.

Also, cat-back exhaust would not fall under bang for the buck mod on the Z imo.

Add the pop charger to that. IMO the best bang for the buck mod is learning how to drive the 300hp rear drive beast yourself.

+1 for Plenum/Spacer,cats+pulley!
Plus get some better suspension.
I just fitted my Tanabe S-OC TypeII s and the car is totally changed!!
No power gains(obviously!) but now gives the ability to use what power you have much, much better. ie:WAY better stability/cornering at speed. Power seems to be put down on the road a lot better too.
