2003 enthusiast.
How doin guys i recently sold my car. and just got promoted i dont quite want a new car but 2003 is new for me. anyways I took a look at a 2003 blue enthusiast 17,186 miles, clean, carfax was clean. the car looked immaculate what should i offer the dealer also, does the 03 come with H.I.D'S, what else does it come with. i already searched thanx.
true but i live in socal evrything is expensive i think its a good deal. any ideas what i should offer. if i do decide to make an offer. it also has pretty low miles
I don't know how different TX is from Cali, but I offered 20k otd and they came back like 10 min later and I had my Z. btw, the msrp was 23,XXX also. Granted, these guys wanted it gone, but I say start pretty low and see what happens. despite the mileage, drive home the fact that it's almost a 3 yr old car! good luck!

since the Z came out in 03 u gotta watch out for problems.... usually when car companies redesign/launch a car, the first year is usually the guinea pig, meaning whatever problems they have in the starting year they fix in the later years. so if u have an 03 and u have the typical problems like tire feathering, window motor, tranny, etc the 04-06 will most likely not have those problems as well. but its your choice, 23k seems like a lot to me though but 17k miles isnt bad either. but check out the forum for more problems with the 03 and THEN go and check out the car. but if you can find a 04-06 in the same price range id rather go for that instead. my .02
I really appreciate the advice, damn tranny problems is that only on the autos. the one i looked at was a 6spd if that makes a diffrence. i used to have an 97 acura 2.2cl 5spd and loved that car did me well. . the fact its a 3 yr old car dosent bother me it's new to me, but i see where yor coming from stepuckey, its 23,800 for a three year old car. any more advice/input would greatly be appreciated rhank you.
Yeah I say offer low and bargain well and take her home. Use the problems with the '03 and sound like you know what you are talking about and they will let it go cheap. It's all a game.
