Default Lower back support

I went looking for some type of lumbar support cushion for The Brick. Below is a link to what I ended up ordering:

http://www.brookstone.com/shop/produ...pe=subcategory

Mine arrived today. It works great but is a bit on the pricey side.
The cushion inflates to adjust to ones back. There is also a height adjustment. It also has a heat element but I doubt if I'll ever use it.

I've seen others post about wanting/needing lower back support so thought I'd pass the info along.....

Pricey?

$70 to save your spine is a pittance.

Your body is worth a whole lot more than a measly $70. Wouldn't you be pissed off if you were an old-fart with back problems and you hadn't spent $70 40 years ago? I would be.

Well, as it is, I hit the big 6.0 this year so I figured I'd better "save" whats left of the back. LOL.

Yeah, I guess not bad but cloth cushion with same features at 40 bucks woulda made me happier.

6.0? does that mean your 60 years old? I would have never suspected that....

the Z has very comfy seats for short trips, but on longer ones my butt goes numb from the seat hitting my thigh. gotta keep shifting around. no problems with lumbar, but that probably comes from slouching for 4 years in highschool. my spine is shaped like a semicircle.

Affirmative on the "60", ares. Hard for me to believe but I keep counting & come up with the same number every time! LOL.

For anyone with a lower back issue, this gismo does work. The attached pump allows you to dial in the degree of support you want quite accurately.

You sure know how to "cozy" up to us older Zers, ares!! LOL!!

I got into the kid biz late. Maybe having two sons around here that are now 19 & 22 has helped keep me somewhat "with it"

The other thing with the age stuff is you have two choices:

-Moan & groan about getting older

-Appreciiate the fact your still vertical, enbrace it, & have some fun
with it.

The latter seems preferable to me.

Good find Rat! I took a 300 mile drive the other day and my back was not liking it.

Default back support

just a thought......I'm having aftermarket bo leather installed in my black Z when it arrives in April....I wonder if a lumbar support device could be installed when seats are changed out. Any ideas?

Thanks, Rat. Brookstone has good stuff. I'll need some minor support if I take a long trip, also.
