Default Do lifetime oil changes transfer?

Alright so when I bought my Z slighty used a year ago the salesman included "life time oil changes". Does anyone else have this as well? I've been getting my oil changes free for the past year but now I'm about to move back to Houston from Colorado and I wonder if this would transfer there? I have it written on paper "life time oil changes, a managers signature and some other bs" But I hope it's not just good at the nissans in colorado. Anyways, time after time I never see the salesman who sold my z to me, so I'm guessing maybe he was fired for doing this for me. Strange indeed.

The sales man offered it to me if I bought the car, but I had planned to buy it regardless so it was a really nice freebie =)

Sounds similar to “lifetime car wash.” I don't believe that it is transferable.

Not transferable. I purchased the Z in Florida, live in Ga, and can't get down to the dealer all the time so the one up here takes care of my Z but doesn't honor the lifetime oil changes. I just buy my own synthetic oil and pay for stall time and a filter.

lifetime anything, is a stunt/perk from a dealership. Nissan does not own dealerships, they are all independent. You could get a manager to sign something saying that you get a new z free each year and any other dealership can tell ya to buzz off. Sorry but time to start payin for the changin
