Sounds like a helluva deal.....but I'd really have the car checked out before you decide to buy it. Weird that someone would let go of his 35th for so cheap. Maybe it's not a real 35th, but a touring with 35th wheels on it!

Carfax! Not sure if it's unique to Z's, but two (out of three) used Z's that I checked out had "intresting" histories. One, an '03, not only had reported frame damage, but had been stolen in NY state and recovered in CA. The other had accident damage and three owners in 20 months. I am not sure how everyone views this, but for me a car with an unfortunate Carfax history is something to avoid. While I am not saying that this car is damaged goods, I'd be wary of any dealer offering something for nothing.

I just went to look at it...CLEAN...but they only offered $12k for my car ('00 BMW 328i)...i thought the offer was too low so i left it, but i test drove it and it was awesome...too bad..i'm so sad it was such a good deal too, so i'm gonna try to sell my car personally and check back to see if still there...wish me luck!

It's good if it's at a NEW CAR (Honda, Ford, Nissan, Chevy, etc.) dealership. They don't buy used cars that are involved in major accidents. If you somehow find something wrong with it of that nature, you can return it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

I went and got it today !
I couldn't resist it...i woke up today went to worked...and thought about it alll F***n day...so after work, i called the sales guy and said "hold the car for me, i'm coming to get it today..." 6hrs later, the z i sitting in my drive way with my old car sleeping in the garage...the car is amazing, i went on the 110 freeway (in so cal)...i've never taken turns that fast (if you've ever drove the 110 u know what im saying), the thing is, it felt effortless... complete control over the road, i guess this is the way most of u felt during ur first drive... and i can't even begin to talk about the brembos... goodness, i just went up and down my street...30-0 stop...40-0 stop...i haven't tried 50 yet cuz its such a small street, but my teeth almost jumped outta my mouth, i guess i have to change my whole way of driving, judging distances, trying to NOT go fast... lol... how am i gonna sleep later, ill just keep thinking about the next time i drive...

Great Move. Now sell your old beast. In November I bought a GMC Sierra. They offered me $1,000. for my old truck, a '98 Isuzu. I put an add the paper, and the first guy that saw it bought it. I got $3,500. for it.
Best of luck with your new ride.
