The new 35th Anniversary Coupe and the new Grand Touring Roadster are going to be awesome!!

The 35th is a combination of the Touring and Track models. It has all the Touring options as well as the Tracks Brembos plus the increase to 300hp, and a few other features.

The Grand Touring Roadster is also going to have Brembos and VDC, but will not have the added horsepower.

I think it is a good step. Those who are looking for some of the Track models features coupled with the Tourings amenities will find the new 2005 models a perfect fit.

Bummer, I just have a Touring Roadster.... I want a new Grand Touring Roadster.

For info on the Grand Touring Roadster, go to the Nissan US site and print out an e-brochure (or whatever it's called.)

Why the hell didn't they make a 300HP trim for the Roadster? It's only available for Track and 35th for coupes.. blah!

But the difference between 287 and 300 is negligible. IMO, unless you drove the two back-to-back I doubt you would notice the difference.

Spoke with local Nissan Dealer Manager yesterday...
Price for Grand Touring Roadster to be known Nov 02, 04

Am Planning on trading to a Super Black Grand Touring.

Known Changes for 05 GT ZR
Comes With Brembo Brakes
Different 18" rims
Tire pressure digital monitor
Wider L&R Side Mirrors
Spoiler - Lower Front & Rear
unique Z® badge
Faster NAV CPU

(Jan 05 Availability) Price not yet known...

Most likely will be SELLING my 04.5 garage/cover kept SB Auto Touring ZR w/18" rims - with Nav (with BO Net Seats and all other available factory stock options) which has been only hand bottled water washed and leaf blower dryed (black paint & all glass are spotless!), 4+ times a week hand polished (w/micro fiber cloths only) with 'Perfect Detail' spray polish and 'Prestige Polish' (which makes it super super super black), immaculately kept exterior (including top) and interior (seats always are well leather waxed / All interior materials are frequently cleaned/protected), EVERY 2K oil/filter changed, extremly pampered super black baby (have added a JWT Popcharger and front greenstuff low dust brake pads at 6000 miles) for an 05 Super Black Grand Touring baby ZR.

Someone is going to get an extremly well kept, well loved Z!

Purchased on 3/20/04 - Has 8,100 miles - Anyone Interested?
$41,340 New (paid 40K) Dealer will do $33-34K - KBB $36,550
