It may just be my imagination, but does the windshield look wet to you?
Was it actually raining while you were playing in the upper triple digits?
Please! Say it ain't so!

so was that the worst explanation ever? I think so.
wow! what is it about road trips to Vegas...
I did 152 in mine back in October on my way to Vegas...
gotta love the AZ/Nevada highways! Most of you folks just don;t understand how easy and safe it is to drive triple digits in the desert.

I was wondering about the amount of road and/or wind noise you experienced when going that fast. I have been up to 112 on a long curve and I couldn't tell the difference between 112 and 80. Something that I kind of consider a problem. I was just tooling around, look down and I'm doing 92. My first mod to the Z was a Radar Detector.
road noise was a bit louder than I thought it would be at 152, but wind noise was pretty low.
The Z can benefit greatly from a couple square yards of Dynamat... eventually I plan to do just that to quiet my Z down.

On the Beltway, I was accidently (honestly) moving at about 145 mph and the sound was so quite, and the car so well-behaved, that until I looked at the speedo, I would have guessed I was doing about 100 mph.
This is not a good car to drive by "the seat of your pants."
The feel can be deceptive.
I'm always shocked when I look down and see my actual speed (especially when my radar detector is screaming).
Gotta love those Brembo's.

i hit 100 so often and i am thinking I am only doing 70.
I had it to 130 and it seemed like 90 at the most.
MAN, I LOVE THIS FREAKING CAR!!!!!!!
Taken mine to 140+. To much adrenaline was going to get an exact number. The stretch of freeway was at that time of night close to empty with the two left lanes empty for at least a mile, it was dry, but still an almost surreal experiance. It was a rush and a half.
