Hi my name is Dan and i am very new to the 350z becasue i just got mine back in September. It is a redline 2004.5 Touring. I wanted to know what mods you Z enthusiaists would think was the best mods to buy. I just don't want to waste my money on a performance part that isn't the best part for the money. I hope to be able to stay up or beat a 2002 2.7 Twin turbo chipped S4. I want to beat or stay up with this car because my brother has this car and i want to have something up on him. This post has prolly been posted like 100 times but this is my first post so give me a break. But i do have some spending limits.

first, i cannot have forced induction-bolt ons only
second, i have about 2,500 bucks to spend

And also what do you think about a race between a stock 350z and a 2002 2.7 Twin turbo chipped S4?

the S4 will rape you really really hard ... which way u want to be raped, it will deliver it...
over all just because turbo > n/a you lose by default lol...
audi have awd, you will lose if you race from dead stop... you will spin and he will have all 4 wheels planted..
from a roll his car have the infamous german engineering of autobahn attack... so you lose from there too...
Depending on what his got... the audi doesnt take much to fly 350-400hp easily... you will either get walked, destroyed, obliterated... you need a turbo set up of ur own to be at that level......
his car is heavy thats his only weakness there..
no way with 2500 you can bank this race lol...
you need to 4x that and get a twin turbo greddy kit with good tune!

J I dont think 4k will cover the greddy kit plus a good tune. That would run around 6-8K but the guy said he wants to stay NA. But yeah to match his car, try a pop charger, spacer, pulleys, test pipes and a Y-pipe. Also get a clutch/flywheel combo. You should get some headers and a exhaust too but you said you only have 2500K. You might be able to take him if you race from a 30-40mph roll and powershift every gear like crazy and hope your brother sucks at shifting. Other than that if you save more money and get some cams, headers, exhaust, a reflash... then you could take him.
