My buddy installed the Esprit test pipe on his 2005 350z touring and the check engine light came on.
The test pipe was from my 2003 350z touring and the check engine light did not come on while the test pipe was installed on my car.

Any ideas? Weird? What should be done to turn off the check engine light?

 

Yes go to AutoZone or Kragen and get the OBD II scanner and erase the code

 

i guess the 03 Z is more tuner friendly IMO

 

Yeahh.. I think so.. because my other friend used to have AMUSE test pipe and was installed on his 05 Z and same thing happpend to his car.. My car just ran perfect without check engine lights and so on..
