I still want a smart key upgrade ... that would be awesome ... oh well ... maybe for 2007.

Remember, the key needs to have the chip inside (immobilizer) and be programmed so that the car will turn on.
Before purchasing it, you are probably better of asking/find out if the dealership here can program a key from another country.

I remember you already did this experiment. The key discussed in this thread is the FairladyZ key for the JDM. It's basically the key with the fob all-in-one. Just like all the other car manufacturers have now a days.

I didn't mean the JDM key was crap...I meant to get one of our USDM ones. An integrated fob would be sweet. I mean, even civics have that now.
