Default problem with pumping gas.

today i was filling up my car with gas and while it was filling up suddenly it stopped by itself, so i pulled the trigger again to fill up the gas but it kept stopping by itself. this happened to me once before, and i was wondering if this is normal or not. btw i filled up my car twice today.

I've had this happen to me also. I'd like to know if this is a TSB or just something that happens from time to time.

shake your car or move it forward to the next pump....

seriously, take it to the dealer for a free repair...

They fixed mine no problem, and had them do a free alignment too (told them that my tires were noisy)

I had the issue the second and third time I filled up my car, but not the first...weird. Anyways, it went away after that. However, my sister's G35C has the same problem and is currently at the dealership as we speak. I thought her problem would also go away, but I guess not!

On a related note, I was filling up gas about a week and a half ago and had the nozzle in the car with the pump locked. I was about 5 feet away from my car giving another guy directions. The gas was filling up like normal. Then as I was walking back to the pump, about a foot away, the gas ceased pumping in an instant, clicked like the tank was just about topped off, and then popped off spewing gas everywhere. I jumped back, so nothing got on me, but what a waste! Dunno why this happened, but luckily nobody really saw.

That happened to me once when there was a cop standing there, and he said something like "uh oh, that was probably about $15 worth of gas!"

I usually go wash my windshield while it's *supposed to be* pumping.

Thanks for the TSB link, I will schedule this over at Performance Nissan as soon as I can. I haven't been able to get a full tank of gas since day one. At ANY station.
