MSRP is way over invoice price on the car. You can probably save $2k at least by subtracting that.

And Nismo stuff is all stupid expensive. Nismo rims, exhaust, suspension will easily add over $3k.

I was just at the dealer and saw an 06 ent. model for 29K. Add wheels and a turbo to that and you will have more fun that paying 40K+ for the Z you are looking at. If you are not interested in performance, get a G35 which has all the lux. and close to the Z in performance.

Plus another 1 or 2k for installing the headers, exhaust and suspension.

Oh and beleive me, you can negotiate all of it.

I just think its wild that you can now get a 50K Z right from the factory.. Thats a pretty big spreak from 27K to Over 50... Lots of Options.

Agreed, I got mine to go down to Invoice price + 10% on nismo parts. It's roughly the same as buying from online source plus shipping. My price is lower, but with 8% sales tax, it's roughly the same price.

Anyways, the moral of this story is to NOT back down to a dealer. Ask him/her to lower the price!
