Default my friend found a black 03 touring Z with 70k miles for 6,000!

he found it off craigs list and the guy said he's moving to sweden really soon so he needs to sell everything and he's selling it for $6,000. sounds fishy to me. but he's checking out the car soon. but if it is legit. that's a steal...

and i'm pretty mad right now. when i got off work and took the stupid metro bus home since there's no parking in downtown. my freaking parents took my car out... i was stuck at home all day since they didn't leave a key to any of the 3 cars in the driveway. stupid parents.

Hey yesterday called and they want their guy that was born yesterday back.

Are you guys that niave? This is one of the oldest scams on the internet. Go wire that guy some money and cry about your money being lost.

The best part was when he said he was moving to Sweden, because after all there aren't any roads in Sweden for him to drive on.

DONT DO IT!!! I looked into an 03 s2k that was 5K. The guy said the same thing. The I found the car on ebay for about 17k. I emailed the guy on ebay and he said that it was not listed on yahoo autos and if it was on there it was a scam. The vin numbers matched too. There are a lot of people trying to get you to send them money and youll get no car. Be careful. They had an 03 Viper convertible for 13000, come on now.

I had the same thing happen. Saw and 03 for $9000 listed in Ponca City, OK and got the VIN and when I searched it on google I found a similar listing for the same car in Maryland for $11,000. Got in touch w/ Autotrader.com and they identified as a scam. People go onto the net and swipe pics of cars and make fake listings to get some idiot to put 1/2 or so down then make off with your $$. Good luck!

Dont beat yourself up over a scam. The typical format is for someone to get a valid vin from an honest listing. They spin a story about having to move in or out of a country (usually they are already out of the country looking to liquidate some assets, Thats always why its so cheap). After hearing the BS story about too much to get registered in the U.S you are focused on the good deal and not the scam. The scam starts when they need you to wire them money in whatever form, deposit or whatever, once they receive the money , you never hear from them again. And if you sent them money, you deserve to lose it. Dont be a fool
