Default passenger side window not working

So I just installed the plenum spacer and I get in the car to take it for a test drive and the passenger side window wouldn't go down. The drivers side works fine. So in my stupidity I rolled down the windows with the remote and it both sides came down. Now I cant get the passenger side up. Whats the deal? Where is the fuse for it? Any Ideas?

I doubt putting the plenum on had anything to do with it, but check the fuse panel under the hood. It is located under one of the plastic covers that pops off. You may have jared the fuse loose. Its tough to tell without looking at it.

I know Installing the plenum had nothing to do with it. I looked in the fuse bow by the battery and nothing said windows.

Sorry, my Z is currently located half way around the world as I am now sitting in Iraq bored off my mind, wishing I was looking at my Z. I can't quite remember where the other fuse panel is at.

try prying a small piece of wood in there and pushing the window out a lil while using the up button on the door. you are likely gonna need a new motor, but first its nice to have it up.

had this problem 2x

If it doesn't work.....try to bang on the door while holding the up/down rolling switch...

+1 Had my pass. window motor replaced under warranty about a year and a half ago. The same thing was happening to me. Just ask how long to get the part before you leave it. It took them like 4 days to find a window motor for me. But that was in St. Augustine Fl. where the Nissan dealership may as well be for used cars, because they are clueless.

slightly old thread, but had a question, if your car is under warranty, do they charge you labor costs if they have to replace the motor ?

My window motor didn't work, my car is under warranty, they fixed it with no charge. By the way it started like that, it wouldn't go up and i would open the door and slam it shut and then try the button and it would work. Finally one day it just stopped working all together.

^^^^^hahahahahahhahahaha thats pretty good.

to the op. you are lucky it was only hte switch. be prepared to have 1 if not both window motors go out on you before the warranty is up. the motor itslef is over $200 at nissan. i think it may actually be about $265. that is what it shows on my invoice from the last one i had done under warranty. now my pass window is inop, so i am saving up to replace that motor........one of the few things i truly dislike about the Z.

The bad thing is, as I understand it, the windows were outsourced to save money. So, they were built by some company that just does window motors. That's why they are bad. Mine stopped working once but have since started working again which sucks because I wanted to take them into the shop under warranty.
