PLACED A $1,000 DEPOSIT ON AUG. 10. Dealer supposedly orderd car in oct. or //MAYBE// nov. got on order # of Y-2730xx. NO VIN# YET SALES MANAGER SAYS SHOULD BE ON NEXT REPORT. TELLING ME CAR WILL BE HERE BY THE END OF JANUARY.

ANYBODY HERE ON THE SAME BOAT AS REGARDS TO A Y-ORDER #. WHAT IS THE DEALER TELLING YOU? PLEASE POST ANY INFO...

Mine was a W order and it came in today.....

 

My order number is Y3130xx. Dealer tells me they will give me more info as it comes. But they said expect it in march.

 

MARCH???, when was it ordered (by the dealer to NNA)???

 

My order went through on Dec. 5, I got a Y order number and my dealer said most likely arrival would be in February (hopefully early February, instead of late).

 

Sorry to bust your bubble, but an order number starting with "Y" was ordered in DECEMBER. My order number starts with Y, and my dealer put the order through on December 6th. They said delivery in March. It goes December (order month, yay!), January (build month, getting excited!), February (delivery month, getting real excited), and finally March (it'z here!!!!)

 

Yup Y orders are from December, I ordered mine in August, and the dealer didn't come through with an order number until November, it started with an X.

 

WELL AM PRETTY SURE MY ORDER WAS ALLOCATED IN NOVEMBER BECAUSE I GOT THE ORDER NUMBER BACK IN NOV. PLUS I CALLED
NNA DIRECTLY AND THE SPECIALIST TOLD ME THAT specific ORDER WAS placed IN NOV.

I don't think the letter infront of the order # corresponds to a certain month. BUT ANYWAYS I FOUND OUT YESTERDAY THAT IF YOU REALLY WANNA FIND OUT INFO ON YOUR ORDER. THE PEOPLE TO TALK TO IS THE SPECIFIC REGIONAL OFFICE. IN MY CASE IT WOULD BE THE NISSAN SOUTHEAST REGIONIAL OFFICE. THATS FROM WHOM YOUR DEALER GETS ALL THEIR REPORTS.

BUT THE REGIONAL OFFICES DON'T DEAL WITH CONSUMER AFFAIRS SO............... UNLESS UR SLICK LIKE ME wink wink they will tell you to talk to ur dealer.

perhaps some of the confusion is that some dealers got to order ZERO or very minimal Z orders in Dec, so cars ordered in Nov, where basically a Dec ordered Car. The "Y" makes sense for a Late Feb/Early March ETA. I ordered mine from dealer on Dec 7th (missed it by 1-2 days) and "officially" got ordered to NNA in Jan 7th, it sounds like it will have a "Z....." order #, and delievery for Late March (I am in Socal, so it doesn't take as long to get from Port to my dealer, PLUS I have NO body kit, so it should come sooner than later).
