Default A totally Different Bose Problem

I have noticed that my Bose system has been ruining my cd's lately. Luckily I make back-ups and play them in the car so my original's do not get ruined. Here's what happens. CD numbers 3 and 5 get a groove worn into them after about a week in the player. I took it to the dealership because it also skips in cold weather, but they said this is the second one with the groove probelm. They are replacing this week. Anyone else with a similar problem?

+1 on the protective skins, easy way to save them.

On another note, I'd suggest changing your screen name, or you'd be a target of more than a few jokes.

Very unusual. The pick-up is optical and never touches the CD. Can you post photos. Thanks.

My bose head unit also skips in cold weather. Anyone know if there is a TSB on this or anything Nissan will do about it? Maybe trade it for an 06 (wishful thinking)

Mine skipped cold on one of my many replacement HUs. Took it in, they got me another refurb. I think I'm on my 4th head unit.

These things have been crap for me.

I had my Bose headunit replaced due to "CHK DISK"

CD player would not read disk. Warranty replacement.
