How did they break-in to my car?

Maybe I am in the minority but I am GLAD our cars are easy to gain entry in to. Because if I do get it back it would be nice to not have it all eff'd up.

If they took it for a joy ride or if they broke in to steal my useless clutter, fine. If they stole it for parts then I prolly wouldn't be getting it back anyway. Even if I did it would be an insurance write off.

This is why I stopped putting alarms on my cars. After having two busted up so the inexperienced thief could get in and kill the alarm I was like, "it's not worth it".

Besides NO alarm will stop someone who wants the car, so why make it so they have to bust things up?

Cool

What if you had an alarm that told you where the car was? Even if they cut the power to the alarm.

A theif tried to use a car battery to smash my window to gain access inside my car

"Luckily" it missed the window and hit the door, denting it and spilling battery acid all over the place, including all over the car

Default Dead Lock

I currently have a Celica GT but im getting my Z next month.
The celica can be dead locked where as even if you break the window the door can not be opened you gotta climb in and out the window.......does the Z not have a dead lock feature?

Someone tried to break into my z back in the winter of 2002. Like someone said thieves have forums about cars. I figured way back then, their would be very little info on how to break into z, since I was one of the first pre-orders. Guess I was wrong. Cost me over $800 to get it fixed. The thevies did more damage by trying to gain access to my car. They scratched and dented the door, and pulled off the door handle. Afterward I went and got a 2 alarm way pager.
