Still waiting for my COOL Xmas present --
No, it's not my Z... got that in October. Rather, I'm waiting for an oil-on-canvas portrait of my Z... by Frank Romero! This was my fiancee's idea - she comissed him to do a small painting of my baby. For those who are unfamilar with his work, Mr. Romero is probably best known for his stylized paintings of cars. He's quite well known in the Los Angeles area (one of his murals can be seen from the 101 freeway in downtown), and was a prominent figure in the Chicano art movement. I'm very excited to see the results, whenever they materialize.
