Talking Predict My New Dyno Numbers

Well I'm headed back to the dyno on the 25th. I am hoping to get 240ish whp & 230ish wtq. What do you all think I get??? My baseline numbers are below:

Car: 2003 Nissan 350Z Touring 6sp
Mods: None
Dyno: Dynojet 248/224
Whp: 232.88
Torque: 226.36
Uncorrected {6000'}: 192.84 whp 187.44 Torque

My new mods: JWT Pop Charger w/ Heat Shield, UR Ultra Underdrive Crank Pulley w/ gates belts, Motordyne 5/16" Plenum Spacer and Iso-Thermal Gasket Kit, and APS Cat-Delete Race Pipes.

I'd say your numbers are about correct, unfortionatly, with NA mods, we see so little gain that it could turn out that on that day due to certain conditions as minor at temperature, you can come up with numbers even less than previously tested. It sucks but whatcha gonna do.

Whp: 232.88 -> 243
Torque: 226.36 -> 233

But I don't really know anything so it's just a guess.

I'd say you'll be around 245rwhp, 235tq but with a good ecu and tune you might get another 10+hp out of that.

Well I don't plan on Spending $1k for a UTEC for 10hp or $500 for a flash/tune for 10hp.
But we'll see! I'm hoping for 240/235 so anything more would be a plus to me.

I hear that, but if you're a/f is off then you might have to bit the bullet.

Well if there was a wiring harness for the 350Z I would go buy the Apex-i S-AFC II.

Wow, your numbers seem to be off. I went with my friend last night to get his base 03 z dyno'ed on a Dyno jet. He has the same EXACT modifications you have except for the Cat delete race pipes. Uncorrected he got 236 whp and 229 torque. I'm gonna look for his thread where he put up a copy of the sheet.

OK, here it is. If you look at the top right of the second picture it shows that these are uncorrected numbers.

Those numbers are still low for a stock Z. This guy only gained about 12 -16 whp with his mods.

I've done a lot of research and I think these are typical number on a DynoJet AWD Dyno.

Why not? You just spent $600 plus install for 10hp. You may as well get a flash for it. I would wait for the exhaust before you got the flash though. Most of your gain will be in the midrange with those breather mods so don't expect a whole lot of increase in peak hp. At least the flash will raise your rev limit to 7100 to take advantage of the breathing mods. The exhaust will help you more in the top end.

I see what your saying... I'll start looking into the UTEC. Want to get one when I go F/I anyhow. Just need to come up with the money now. LOL

I'm so over this NA thing. I'm ready to go turbo. My car stock dyned 226whp on a dynojet. Now it has Injen CAI, Greddy Evo 2, ebay test pipes, and a UTEC. I'm hoping 250whp. We will see. It is getting dynoed today.

That is way too much money for 25whp.
