I never understood the "knee cushion" thing in the 04.5 models and up. Any1 explain?

That's cool bro. I always thought about getting a spare pad to do that. Though, I'd use it for my left elbow on the driver's side door.

the knee pads are great when my bose system starts acting up. I just give the right side knee pad a big wack, and it starts working again.

Hrmm, my Z was manufactured in 02/2004, yet it has the kneepads. Anyone know when the 04.5's were made? I always assumed mine was a flat '04.
