Base is OK but for the price they're asking, you can probably get an enthus model so thats something to think about.

We dont get base models here in Sydney, only track, touring and SE.
Well, I have a base and I actually think it is the best one. Why? Because it is the lightest. It has no side air bags, TC, VDC or cuise. Nothing! And that is why I love it. I got light Rays, removed the spare and I'm thing of changing battery for Optima. Do the math, same motor, lighter car! I know, no LSD. I'm, going for a Nismo one anyways. Keep it simple...

My thoughts as well. Plus the more stuff you have on a car the more likely something will break.

I'd feel really funny about buying a used Z from a seller who either

1. flat out lied to me about what trim it was, or
2. had no clue about what trim it was.
