All the time. This car is crap now compared to everything I run into. I can't beat them in Auto, and I can't beat them in Manual. I know it's not me. Nice looking car but I drive my Prelude and let my girl drive the Z. I'm rather Dissappointed.

I probably switch in to manual mode once every month or two. The novelty has kinda worn off and I just put it in drive and go. I like to kick back and cruise in my ZR.

I keep it in auto mode unless I am having a little fun. I do get higher shift points in manual mode. Also, with traction control and AC off my best 0-60 time is 5.04 seconds. Frankly, I am satisfied with my performance.

Yes and no, technically redline is the same whether you are in auto or manual mode. In auto-mode the computer might optimize the shift at a point less than redline depending on the situation. Just because you and I might shift at redline doesn't always mean that was the best point. Also, in auto-mode it is almost impossible to over-rev. The shifts in auto-mode, in it's most aggressive profile, are very fast (faster than an eyeblink) which may give the impression that it shifted at a lower RPM. In manual-mode, you can actually briefly jump over redline and have the rev-limiter kick in during some instances and you have to factor in human reaction time during manual shifting.

5.04 seconds is pretty darn good. My best was 5.3 something. How did you measure your 0-60 if you don't mind me asking?

I used the stopwatch on the dash. The worst I have checked is 5.89 and the average is about 5.4. So your times are about the same. One time I got the 5.04 time.

True but for me if I want to take her to 7100 I have to put it in manual mode. In D then she shifts at 6500rpm.
