Question for 5AT owners:

All the time. This car is crap now compared to everything I run into. I can't beat them in Auto, and I can't beat them in Manual. I know it's not me. Nice looking car but I drive my Prelude and let my girl drive the Z. I'm rather Dissappointed.

I keep it in auto mode unless I am having a little fun. I do get higher shift points in manual mode. Also, with traction control and AC off my best 0-60 time is 5.04 seconds. Frankly, I am satisfied with my performance.

Just because you and I might shift at redline doesn't always mean that was the best point. Also, in auto-mode it is almost impossible to over-rev. The shifts in auto-mode, in it's most aggressive profile, are very fast (faster than an eyeblink) which may give the impression that it shifted at a lower RPM. In manual-mode, you can actually briefly jump over redline and have the rev-limiter kick in during some instances and you have to factor in human reaction time during manual shifting.
