Question Which companies offer gap insurance?

I am currently using Geico but I dont think they offer gap insurance. Can anyone suggest a reputable company that offers stand-alone gap insurance?

Thanks

Is your car new? I believe the dealers offer it as well.

Yes, my car is new but I did not purchase from the dealer because it is expensive.. I know progressive has it but I think you can only buy it when bundled with comprehensive and collision coverages (correct me if i am wrong)....

I checked the web and there are a lot of companies offering gap insurance but I have no idea how reliable and reputable those companies are....

BTW, I am financing through NMAC.

Are you going to be that much upside down on the purchase? Can you get better money for your other car by selling it yourself instead of a trade?

Allstate has it for the first three years saying if the car was under a certain number of mileage.

The problem is I did not put anything down for my Z... I am doing 100% financing... If I got into a total loss accident within the first 2 years, then I am out a few thousand dollars just to cover the loan...

Honestly, I have enough $$ sitting in the bank to cover the loan and actual value difference... but gap insurance will give me additional peace of mind that I do not have to worry about anything bad in the future...

I've never heard of a single insurance place NOT offering gap coverage.

We got gap insurance through our credit union (where we financed the car).
