Thumbs up Took the plunge!

Just wanted to shoot a quick hello to everyone on the forum since I anticipate being here for quite a while. A wise man once said, "**** or get off the pot"...well, yesterday, after looking at numerous cars over the last two months I decided on a beautiful Super Black 350Z Track. I pick the car up Monday night. I don't know how I'll make it through the next day or two but hopefully this board will help me out because I'm sure many of you placed an order for the car and have to wait a hell of lot longer than me. Anyway, glad to be aboard.

Default Took the Plunge

Just took delivery of a Touring 350Z yesterday! The drive from the dealer to my home was appox. 200 miles. Here are my first impressions!
1. Drop dead beautiful styling!
2. Handling is great!
3. Many blind spots driving, rear view mirror almost usless!
4. Great power!
5. Good sound! Exhaust that is!
6. Ride a little harsh on really rough roads!
7. Entry into car will knock your head off!
8. Confortable once behind wheel!
9. Really eats up the interstate!
10. Wish it had a place to rest my left arm!

These are a few first impressions! I am really looking forward to driving the automobile and learning more about it!

Thanks for the kind words everyone. I swear between now and when I pick the car up tomorrow evening around 6pm will be the longest time of my life.

Lee3Z - Beautiful pic of your Z. I will try and post pics of mine as soon as I can.

Cosmo - Congrats on your delivery as well. I concur with everything you wrote about the Z. In the short amount of time I drove the car I eventually bought (test drive), I was amazed by every aspect of the Z. I guess I can officially refer to my 3000GT as my "beater", although she is a beaut. as well.

Cotmfk - By the way, gorgeous VR-4 . Unfortunately my GT is only the SL, but the VR-4 will always be one of my favorite cars. Maybe if I can finagle a little more driveway space, the fiancee will let me get a used one...I better not hold my breath

I saw a black one rolling in OCK on Portland turning into OSU @OKC (for you okies), it looked awsome, I like all the colors, but once you see them up close, you like them even more.

Cool

Can this day please end. This has definitely been the longest day of my life I pick up my SB Z Track tonight and it seems like the hour hand is stuck on my clock here at work. Maybe I should actually get some work done and stop watching the damn thing. Can't help it...getting restless

Well, after impatiently watching the clock tick down yesterday I finally got to bring my SB Z home last night. I wish the dealer was further than the six miles it took to get the car home. But for those six miles it was awesome. This car is an absolute stunner. I wanted to take her out tonight but it looks like the weather will be crappy here in MD. Might have to go for a joyride before the snow starts. For all you Z prospects thinking about the car...just do it, you won't have any regrets

The black is absolutely gorgeous on that car, although I would be scared out of my mind of getting swirl marks or stuff like that on it!!

WayneTN - Thanks, buddy . The feeling is incredible. I just wish there were more hours in the day to drive!

Zon, agree with you there. I can't wait till the weekend to give her a bath and, depending on the weather, put on my first few coats of Zaino.
