Insurance is took care of the rear and 33% of painting. They paid almost 5k to repair and paint the rear, new spoiler, replace the JDM clears, blending the side skirts... the rest was out of pocket my expense about 2500. Front and rear are seamless with the molding... looks great IMO anyway. The rest will come in next week and be put on.

Frederick Nissan did the work 301 662 0111 talk to Arthur Williams these guys are the shiznits.

Next will be wheels and performance mods.

Ken

Yeah not a big fan either... only cost $20 extra for them to do it and I can turn them off... so no worries. Maybe the will grow on me if not... they will stay off.

no offense to you Villainous350z, but i think you got jip'd.. what you have done does not seem like it would add up to 5k.. i think because you basically had a shopping spree of 5k to work with you really didnt shop around did ya? w/ 5k in upgs, i personally wouldve expected a bigger change. Looks good though, clean.

No no no I didnt pay 5k... that was how much damage was done pics of accident here --->

I paid under 2500 for the kit labor, paint and the rest of the work which included painting of the front... damn weak azz paint.

I was hit about a month ago... the lady that hit me was in a trail blazer... 5k of damage done.

Well, a few years back I was rear ended before in my '92 Camry and that was 5k in damage. I didn't think replacing a taillight, trunk and bumber was gonna cost that much, but apparently it did. Luckly the other lady had insurance. Point being, when insurance is involved with coverage, I wouldn't be surprised if repair shops "spike" the price or add uncessary repacements a bit since they know they can get their money's worth from all the labor chargers for whatever part they feel needs to be repaired/replaced. Its business.

+1! I think you car is looking good..but those OEM rims are cutting the car from really standing out. I think once you get that nismo wing and 06 jdm clears, you car will look pretty damn good. If I had to pick something I didn't like about your car, it would be that rear bumber and that is only because I am not fond of rear bumbers that encapsulate the exhaust tips and sorta "hide" it. I like the PPW center console too. Now you said you got 75% repaint due to pain chips Do you plan to invest in a clear bra? Frederick respresentin'! woot woot!

Yeah you and I talked a couple times. Good hearing from you. I work there 2 days a week... gotta love the discount. I got the Pioneer AVIC-D1 1600 normally after the discounts... i paided like $600 for it... god I love that place.

Sorry to hear about your accident I am sure you will get it up and running soon... I know it sucks. Mine was in the shop for 3 weeks... but what can you do.

Hit me up soon... I work in the Bethesda area during the day.

there are parts under the bumper that get damaged in a rear-collision. the braces, misc parts that crush, and other damage can easily get very expensive.

also keep in mind they might have had to fix other parts (taillights, frame, hatch, etc).

5k is pretty cheap for a collision in general.
