RUZRIOUS, I moved to the VA about 4 years ago and the biggest mistake that I have ever made was not buying a house here. If I'd bought a house here I could have made enough cash to buy 2 Z's straight out! Buy a house here first!! Then if you can get your finances in good order then buy your Z. That is just my 2 cents.

You gotta love it. I'm an E-7 in the Army and in recruiting. I got everyone looking at me like I got something going on the side. Especially when I'm not in uniform. Being that I'm only 26. I have my Z and a 2000 BMW 3 series. Both hooked up. And an Eddie Bauer Expedition and TL1000R. I got the Air Force recruiter wanting to switch over because he cant get promoted to E-6 and he's been in longer than me. But hell. These kids can get up to $40,000 for signing up now. That'll make a nice down payment on something.

Ex-Army enlisted medic then OCS and Infantry Officer. Get used to it fellas. The haters will be there all your life. To this day people just don't underfrigginstand hard work and determination. We get what we want, we find a way to make it work and then we do it again!

I guy from work picked me up at home so we could ride together to a business meeting. Usually I don't have work people come to my house, but he lives so close...what the hell. I get back to work the next week and I hear the haters still! Do you live in a gated community with a pool and a lake and a park......do you have a half court basketball court in your backyard....didn't you have a Ducati 998 motorcycle.....isn't that your 350Z Roadster with the burnt orange vented seats and the nice 19" wheels.....don't you drive Yukon XL with nice wheels too. Ya and I have a piece of crap Dodge Intrepid that I drive to work everyday. So your point is what? Yes, I have four kids and if you have to know my frikkin house is 4100 sq.ft. too. Can you tell this guy pissed me off by acting like a little biotch!
Be happy for the man....worked for everything.

Let them hate.

AF E-2, living in the dorms and ballin' harder than anyone else in the dorms. I've got a E46 BMW, Supra TT, and a 350Z. Don't have any bills and nothing else to spend my money on in New Mexico. Worst military town ever. 2hrs. from everything, might as well have fun with my cars and watch the towns people hate.

I just moved back to Hampton Roads and bought a house. Not the best house in the world, but at least I'm not pushing 30 and still living in an apartment.

Even as a warrant officer I get asked on a semi-regular basis how I afford my car. Everyone seems shocked to hear a 20 year old can handle his finances well enough to afford a nice car and not live like a bum.

Im a E-3 in the Air National guard. I love my Z. Im in school my dad who is a 0-7 paid for half I put up the rest Because I am in college and don't have time to pay for all of it. Gotta love air national guard. Full college paid and books and 528 dollars a month for 2 days a month not a bad deal.

I bet you never hear the end of that, huh! I went to WOCS with a guy who's dad is an O-8, and it drove him nuts whenever we joked about it. Guard and reserve isn't a bad deal, until you get deployed. At least in the army, it seems like the guard and reserve is getting deployed even more than the active army.

Yeah, but air guard deployment is optional, except for security forces.
