Well, you didn't say anything about getting new rims in your previous post, but the answer to question number one is yes.

There is nothing "special" about the stock tires. In fact many argue that they are a poor choice (though I think they are an ok "all around" choice). But lots of people who aren't "enthusiasts" will continue to use the OEM tire just because it was what the manufacturer used.

So if i get new tires, i will never have that feathering problem then?

I didn't say that. Some people had good success by changing tires, some didn't, it's case by case. We're really getting off-topic in this thread though. Since the feathering issue is getting to be an older one, run a search on it and you'll get the answers you're looking for, as this has been the topic of literally hundreds of threads.

Hey is it true that you can use cams on the 04.5's? Some of the PN guys said that the ECU just can't read them and the car will have alot of problems. Is that true? Because I want to stay NA and wouldnt mind getting some cams but if it wont wrok then forget it.
