I washed it all off. Does anyone know if mayonaise screws up the paint in any way? I am pretty sure that it was on there overnight.

I would wax it this weekend for sure. Mayo has vinegar in it and that could eat that the clear coat.

Don't wait until the weekend! At the very minimum, shampoo and polish/wax at least the affected area.

 

So, maybe someone saw some sap on the car and decided to help you out, you should be thankful there's good people out there.

actually I'm OCD when it comes to my car. I don't own a bat but I think a torque wrench would do the trick. I already notified the front office but if I catch the kids, god help them.
