Well, it's been about 4 months of not driving the 350Z, one more month left until it gets warm enough and for the salts to disappear from the roads before I will take out the 350Z.
So I'm missing her pretty bad tonight as I was driving to a friend's house with the winter beater(2000 Jetta). As I get on the highway on ramp, a silverstone 350Z zooms by me. My heart skips a beat and so I sped up. It took me a while to get to 140KM/H and I still couldn't keep up, I had to stay around 140km/h because the car was starting to vibrate. I just wanted to get close enough to go beside the 350Z so I can admire it for a bit but I couldn't(I love seeing a 350Z in motion since I'm always in one and never get to see one going fast down the highway, we don't have that many Z in my city). Tried for about 10 minutes to get beside it and even missed 3 exits. I only got as close as 10 car lengths. I felt like a damn stalker.
I really miss the Z, I remember once taking her to 190kM/H without knowing it because the car was so smooth and didn't vibrate. I forgot how effortless it was to reach that speed.

Thats funny Young. I had the same thing happen last week in Chelsea Qc. I was driving with my gf and as we were about to pull into the parking lot at the restaurant, I saw a Silver Z, with tinted windows, and Ont licence plates.....
My gf got pissed off at me, when I followed him out, (Back towards downtown Ottawa on hwy 5 South) got up nice and close, but couldnt see who was driving..... at that point buddy must have thaught I wanted to race, and he punched the gas....(We were already going 150 km/h) and I gave chase to 190 before my gf got really, really mad at me.
Buddy in the Z, must have wondered what was up with the Volvo station wagon following him, thats for sure!lol

ouch, that sounds painful. I don't know if I could go w/o my Z for a few months every year. although I guess it makes you appreciate your Z that much more, and it must be like xmas when you finally get to roll her out from storage. still, I'm glad I live in hawaii
