I never use the digital speedometer because unlike the analog gauge there is no reference point. Its just a number sort of like a $10 digital watch.

I use all the digital modes. I love switching through them as I drive. Temp, MPG, Trip time log, Speed, DTE, etc... It just another gauge to scan like the oil press, volts, tach, shift light etc...

Just don't forget to look outside and drive the car.

I drive the way I learned to fly, scan the gauges and scan outside so that you keep yourself out of trouble.
