c5 vette or 350z?

To the OP, I'm truly sorry for turning your thread into a raunch-a-thon. Though, I'm not kidding, there's lots of room.
My sister has a Z05 and I've always wondered how such a big car can have such a tight packed interior. The inside of the Z seems like a concert hall to me in comparison. I think it's mostly due to the high roof line, but the dash isn't as intrusive either in the Z.

Now I realize were talking about C5's, but they are by NO MEANS "overpriced". They look good, they are still a mid-low 13 second car (faster than a Z). They have WAY better torque at all RPMS, especially low-end. They also handle better.
The Z's interior materials are complete crap, as are the vettes... no winner there. The Z interior design i like better than the tupperware vette's.
It's really what you want, drive both for sure. You'll be able to decide.
I was cruising next to a C5 Z06 the other day, so I was pretty ecstatic. as I'm cruising along, I realize my childhood dreamcar doesn't measure up to my Z. The Z kills it in terms of looks, the C5 is so outdated, and IDK... I just felt great in my Z next to the C5. And trust me, this is not a biased opinion. The Corvette has been my favorite car since I knew what a car was...
I still dream about one day owning a C6 Z06, but for now, I woudln't give up my Z for a C5. No way.

The vettes faster, more powerful, bla bla, but I needed a daily driver, so I picked the Z, no regrets.
I used to own a C5 'Vette - and there is no comparison between it and the Z.
The 'Vette is a beast, with V8 power always on tap. The Z's 6 is not as powerful, but feels more refined.
When you look at the whole package, the 'Vette really doesn't inspire long term confidence in terms of reliabilty and durability.
The "tupperware" interior comment regarding the 'Vette interior on the C5 is right on.
Yes, both the new C6 and '06 Z's interiors are improvements, with the Z feeling like it offers both more room and better build quality.
Unfortunately, union American workers in Kentucky can't put together a car like the Japanese.
Finally, if you think we have had problems with our Z's, check out the many DEAD BATTERY threads over at corvetteforum.com - GM is unable to get the on going fixed and owners of the C6 are experiencing a problem with completely cripples the car..... not good
