Smile c5 vette or 350z?

overall wich in your opinion is the better car? Im stuck right now and cant decide what to get ive driven both i love the power of the vette but love the feel of the 350z. Does anybody have any imput? wich car will respond to modification better such as forced induction bolt ons etc. I love the lookks and lines of the z but i like the heritage ang the history behind the vette. Any imput at all will help thank you

I was is the same situation, and went with the Z. A used C5 is around the same price of a new Z, so its either new Z or a used C5. Vettes are built like crap, so thats another point for the Z, and insurance was cheaper for the Z (for me at least). The vettes faster, more powerful, bla bla, but I needed a daily driver, so I picked the Z, no regrets.

C5 interiors suck @$$. if you get the Z it'll be new and you'll enjoy it for longer.

If you're a Vette guy, a Vette. A Z guy, a Z. For the money, the Vettes performance is better. It's up to you.

Make sure you get a nice tacky plate for the Vette like I saw the other day
"I EBAY" just to rub it in people's faces

can you please explain "there's nothing like a vette". i think the vette is a great bargain for performance but i personally wouldn't say there's nothing like a vette.

How much can you afford?

Don't get a Vette, if you are driving it everyday. In a few years, or sooner, you'll be begging for another car. Trust me, we have a 3 year old C5 Z06 with only 8K miles. If we have to drive the Vette everyday, we sell it. Cons: Noise, Comfort, Too Thirsty for Speed and Attention; Good (admirer) and Bad (racers).

Flip a coin and see how you feel with the outcome. If you are happy then there you go. If you wished it landed on heads rather than tails, then there is your answer also.

Maybe a little off canter, but the Z has enough room in the interior to do the horizontal boogie. Not really a selling point, but something to consider.

I defy you to find a C5 with over 10k miles that doesn't roar, clunk, and rattle like a dump truck. GM is flirting with bankruptcy for a reason.

Really? But isnt the e-brake in the way?

If that's true, I need to get myself back into a Z

No the E-Brake sit pretty flush with the console, and the passenger seat has ample room.

Forgive the pun, but the Z has lots of head room.

People would think Floridians like yourselves would do the hanky on the beach or something instead of in a seat of a 350z. Perhaps that's how the inventor came up with "frost" white leather?
