Default Help spend some of my money please. Need Advice!!

Hey guys/gals,

The wetaher has turned and I am puting my 04 350Z (touring model) back on the road on monday. I want to do some minor mods for now. We just had a baby so the headers/exhaust/and supercharger are done for till next year.

I want to put an intake, plenum or plenum spacer, and a crank pulley. I am pretty mechanically inclined and plan on doing this myself. Will someone please tell me what brand of those items to buy. A link to them would be awesome! I never modded any car before and I want a little better sound and maybe another pony or so If I can get it out of these mods. So I will really appreciate any help you guys can provide me. I don't want to blow a bunch of cash. The baby is doing that for me
Thanks alot,
huckingfellers (Jason)

If you are going to do a supercharger eventually though won't the intake and plenum spacer be nullified? Maybe focus on exhaust? That will get you the sound difference, drop some weight probably and get a small performance difference.

It will be very easy to remove a plenum spacer. So even if it does nulify it. Which I don't it does. i will have no problem removing it and selling it.

Experienced others helping out those who are not so experienced. Is that not what these forums are for?

If you don't want to help why even post in my thread?

Absolutely. There are many spacers being used SC, turbo and twin turbo. And the gains are even better when FI.

well you say you want to spend...how much would give people a better idea of things you could get. But I would do the spacer first.

I have been enjoying it for two years since I bought it brand new off the showroom floor. It is not all that fast. It is only 287 horse, and that is not even at the wheels. My dad's 05 vette crushes it! Not even a race.

Does not feel that fast anymore I should say. I have been used to it since the first month I owned it. I was going to supercharge it, put headers and exhaust, plus rebuild the bottom half of the motor this spring. But due to having a new baby I think it is wise if I hold off a year on that. Some minor mods for a minor noticeable difference and I will be happy. I was thinking on spending a grand total. Or less if I can get away with it.

Clapton, sorry.

Check out APS High Volume Intake http://store.yahoo.com/sgpracing-store/apshivoinpl.html you can get it polished. I have it on my 04 with the NISMO exhaust and it runs and sounds Great!
