First post on here, but this thread had me entertained for a while...

When I was on my TEST DRIVE with the sale's man from the dealership on the passenger side I was waiting for people to cross the road and some guy said NICE CAR MAN!! At this point I think he realized I was on a test drive due to the big white price tag on the window and told me to buy it quick. I'm pretty sure that comment was the reason I bought the car that day.

Other than that just the normal weekly "nice car man" from random people on the street.

 

The dozens of stares I get every time I go out driving it are compliment enough for me.

 

When I did my annual state inspection couple days ago, one of the inspector told me he likes my 19" wheels. You know state inspectors see a lot of cars, so I take this very highly. I was going to tell him my wheels are 8 years old-

PS: Your e-brake does not fail, 3 years since I got it failed from a want-to start something inspector.

 

When you get an indirect compliment is nice too...



A friend took the Z for a spin since he has LTH just not installed yet. At a random stop light a father and sons request a musical demonstration!

Usually it's along the lines of holy jeezus, your mazda 3 is fast as hell. Of course after I beat them.

Sorry you're not getting positive compliments on your car. I personally don't think your car is a pos mom car, but I mean I do see a lot of middle aged women driving 350z's. So I guess I could see the correlation that someone else inference'd about you and your car.

Best compliment I have had was when the dealer allowed me to take the car to pick up my wife at work. My wife doesn't swear and really has no love for cars, got in, looked around and said " Holy sh*** this car is bad as F***. Still have Z working on replacement for wife.

 

Getting gas- young girl stops by and says "I love your Z more than my boyfriends..."

 

I got myself a set of takeaways for dinner and when I went around the corner of the building where my car was parked, two girls who were walking behind me whistled at the sight of my Z and wow'ed. The best thing was they didn't know the car was mine until they saw the headlights blinked as I unlocked the car with the keyfob. I instantly heard whispers of "Omg it's his car *chuckles* *nudges* *walks faster*". This happened during the early days of owning the car.
