good to know people still appreciate this car lol.

 

I was fueling up today at our local station.
Guy and his son were starring at me/myZ.....went into pay, the dad said " Hello, my son was wondering if he can take a few pictures of your Z, its his favorite car of all time" little guy was in 5th grade and knew a ton about cars of all kinds.....turned out his sister is in the same grade as my daughter, ended up driving him home in my car with the dad close behind, got into boost just a little, kid had a smile larger than life when I dropped him off at his house.

That was awesome !!

 

^ ha nice man. i gave one of my best buds from tech school that just got back into cali a ride in my z, gave it some gas a few times, just enough to put your head back in the seat and some 2nd'n'3rd gear chirps. my buddy liked it so much he said if he won the lottery first thing he would buy was a Z and then turbo it. same night a chick asked if that orange car was mine.

 

I get lots of "I love that car" comments. I had someone last week walking by as I was about to get in and say to me "that's a sexy car." Yesterday I was coming out of Steak N Shake with my girl, and some guy in an SUV had just pulled up and parked on the right side of my car. He waited until I had closed the door after my girl got in, then gets out. As I'm walking around to the driver's side, he says to me "cool car." It always makes me smile and I always say thanks.

 

Picked up my 07 Z on Sunday and drove it to work for the first time on Tuesday. I received countless compliments from random people at work I've never seen(I work at a university, thousands of people coming & going). Best one so far Was on Tuesday, first day I had my car at work...quitting time at 3 pm but students coming & going since its exam time...showing my car to my supervisor and a coworker and a really good looking girl pulls in with a 03-05Z with her boyfriend and parks right next to me, gets out looks over to me as she's walking by, smiles and says "nice car" and I replied with "thanks you too." She laughs, looks over at her boyfriend who by this time was raging, and he pushes her....I just about lost it, had to hold my laughter.

Had a delivery truck driver come up to me(among others) and ask me if that's my car, ended up talking with him for about 5 minutes about Z's & G's since he's looking to pick one up. The students love it, it's really an attention *****, but hey, so am I

 

That would have pissed me off

Today I ran inside a CVS real quick and parked two spots away from this 90s vert mustang that the owner parked in the corner of the lot with a for sale sign. When I came out the owner was there with a potential buyer and as I was getting in my car the buyer's head was turned staring at my car while the mustang owner was trying to sell him on buying his car.

I thought about cracking a joke and saying whatever he's charging I'll sell you this for the same price, but I kept my mouth shut as I knew that would be too dick-ish. The guy gave me a thumbs up as I was leaving the lot.

Not exactly a compliment but yeah, cool story bro.

 

I let my wife borrow my Z today and as she was coming home a little kid said "You have a nice car!… oh wait, that's a girl?!"

 

Went for a drive on one sunny day with top down on my 2007 black 350z with my wife. Decided to get a lunch at a drive thru (Harveys) and a guy comes out from the restaurant while I was lined up. He whistles (like you whisle when a babe passes by) and says "wow, that is so geogeous and sexy". I looked over my wife and I tell her "he's looking at the car....".

My story
My lil bros friends and my sis friends always say I love your car, or you have an expensive Nissan

 

I was going to a friends yesterday and was wasting time until he got off work and decided to make a lap through the Nissan dealership whhere my Z originally came from. As I was driving by the 370Z's I was stopped by 2 dealers in the lot telling me how good my Z looks for it's age and how I should never get rid of it. Made me feel pretty good since dealers are known for haggling you into trading something. Also I have to say since I started using everything Griot's Garage to detail my car I get a lot more compliments.

 

I have never gotten any compliments from waiters, or servers, but I did with a Sonics waiter. He didn't serve me, but he told me, "nice car!!" I said something like keeping looking at it- I'm joking, I said "TY sir!!!!!!!" The more of this, the less I want to upgrade.
