I have had my Z for a week and i could not count the amount of stares and thumbs up i have received.

The day i drove it home i parked it in the back of the parking lot. As i am getting out a young guy in a pick up truck drives around my car 2x just staring. I smiled and walked away.

Many waves and thumbs up from gli's, evo's etc.

This asian kid on a ninja comes up to me at a light and opens his helmet and says, " you know you don't have a license plate right?" and i look at him and im like yeppp, nice bike! He goes yea i just got it repainted... i hit a deer and totalled it a couple weeks ago..... Then he is like well really nice car man!then zoooms away. thought it was funny he hit a deer....
random

And the best one yet.

Today i am at a friends garage that is on a main street. It's actually across from a dairy Queen. So i park my car next to my friends 94 twin turbo supra. MINT!!! and gorgeous!!!!! wow it's nice. Anyways these 4 kids around the age of 18 walked across the street and start chatting me up about my car. I answer their questions and im like, " did you see this supra tho.. i mean this thing is a legend." The kid goes... Man thats OLD! your car is nasttyyyyyy.

loolololol

I am at a stop light tonight taking a left turn and i look across the way and there is a kid and his mother in a mini van staring at me. SO i put it in first and make the greddy mufflers scream as i take the turn and they wave and honk their horn like 5 times.

anyways tons and tons and tons of compliments...

THIS is a dreammmmmm

On a road trip once to Colorado with a friend, a Trooper pulls up next to me and says: "Pull over."

I didn't really know what he was saying then he started yelling: "PULLOVER!"

Finally I realize what he's saying, so I say: "No, it's a cardigan but thanks for noticing."

Made me feel really good.

Still gets compliments and stares virtually every single day. Really helps that it's Daytona Blue, the color makes the car stand out 10x more.

Yesterday and older gentleman in his late 60s is walking past by car as I'm about to go inside it and says "nice wheels!" Haha, I particularly like compliments from the older folk - they seem to genuinely mean it. Plus they grew up at a time where people were more infatuated with cars.

lol @ all you guys talking about stares. You sure they aren't just making eye contact with you guys because you keep driving around with your windows down looking around trying to see if anyone notices your cars? :P

I race quite often in the Summit ET series. About once a week. I have been drag racing off and on since I was 16. No records, but I raced at Fremont/Baylands, Half Moon Bay, Vaca Valley, Bakersfield etc. In C gas, D gas, Super Sport, EC and Cheaters class. I have also done SCCA Formula Vee, autoX and rally racing. I love motorsports. I understand the "young n poor n happy" statement. That was very true.

I didn't hate foreign cars, I just couldn't afford any of them. I tried buying a Sunbeam Tiger, but the sales person at British Motors was such a dick I bought a big block Impala instead.

Well, considering that people are blatantly looking at and complementing the CAR and not me, and the fact that all of my friends always tell me how everyone looks and points at the car...yeah, pretty sure.

You know, Fowl.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the second most thing ANYONE does after seeing a sexy car is find out who that stud is driving that car?

Finding out who drives it can go many ways, but lets not go there?

So, next time you see a fine young chick looking your way. Give her the Eye.

Pulls number like no tommorro. Give it a try.

Oh, I know they look at me after they look at the car, but hell I'm an old guy, so they think I'm driving my kids car. I did have a sweet young thing sitting in my car at the races one night and had to pry her out of it. Usually I lock it, but somehow I forgot this time. She saw what I looked like and still wanted to hang out.

I saw your other post from the Pertaining 17yo.

Was it #2?

Asian girls got things for older men.
So, I don't blame you for trying to lock your doors.

Shoot, I'll even recomend a snow shovel.
