Why not carry it in the Z? I know it sounds absourb but if you use enough covers, and take your bike apart it might fit.
I tried this, no way it fits unless you have a folding bike. I took both tires, the seat, pedals but it wont fit under that damn rear bar. Could take more parts off, but it'd be too much of a hassle.

It's not always practical or possible for people to have another car. I do have an old one personally that i use to transport my bike, but sometimes you want to drive the Z (hence why I thought i'd try my luck with fitting it in the hatch)

^^^ Agreed. I don't understand why some ppl think that a sports car can't be used for some daily functions. I saw a 05 Porsche Turbo with a bike rack on top and I thought it was cool that a person can merge two hobbies into one outing.

Have you tired removing the passenger seat? I bet it will fit in there.

I have got my bike inside my Z! I take both wheels off the bike then place the frame inside a padded bike bag then you have to insert it into the boot but from the front of the rear brace, it doesnt take too long either just move the seat forward abit. As the frame is in a bag you don't damage the inside of the car. the wheels also go into wheel bags. I do think it's a good idea to mount a removable rack to the back of the Z, it doesn't bother me at all as its a normal thing in the UK to see bike racks on all sorts of cars even sports cars, as cycling is very big in the UK. I have even seen racks on the back of Classic British Sports Cars like MG'S, TRIUMPH,S, LOTUS etc. I guess some of us love our cycling as much as our sports cars! so why not enjoy yourself and do both.

I couldn't have said it better. What kind of bike do you have have? I know that cycling is big in Europe. Its like Football, Baseball, and basketball all put together in the US.

Sweet bikes. I was expecting road bikes. I can see why its hard to fit in the Z. You clean your bike off pretty good before putting it in the Z? I can see how the interior will get pretty dinged up after a hard season of riding.

Why do you only use the trek during good weather? The hardtail gets better rear grip?

Carrying a bike for a long distance or for a vacation is not something I would want to do very often with my Z, but once in a while you just need to get from point A to point B so you can ride your bike. This should be OK, even if this is a 'sports car'.

I just bought a Specialized 'Allez Sport' and it only weighs 18 lbs, so I did a lot of research and found that you can get a Rear-Mount carrier. I found one made by Saris. You can look at their website to see if this is something you might want. I ordered one and will post the results of my install. I only plan on carrying one bike, so the 18 lbs should not be a problem. You could also use a roofmount, but I think the rear should be an easy one for brief transports.
