Weird clicking Noise from Axle or brakes?? Not a TSB
I have a 03 Z that has been in and out of warranty work. Last week it started making some unusual clicking noise when coming to a stop.
I know about the normal Axle TSB but from what I researched it is when taking off or stopping. This only does this when braking to a stop going forward. Not backwards, and only when touching the brake pedal.
Is it possible something broke in CV joint and it is clicking because it is slipping when I apply the brakes? I have an appointment to get it looked at but the normal 3/36 is up on mine, I do have some kind of extended 100,000mile warranty though. Should it be covered?

check everything underneath your trunk. A forum member found two screws left over from a repair/tsb work from the dealer.
So just check to see if there is anything lose or out of of place underneath the trunk.
If it is truly not the TSB...
