06' MREV Question
I'm looking into buying an 06' 350 base model, and someone with an 03' Z was telling me that the MREV motors arent compatible with alot of mods, including the Greddy TT kit. Any worries i should have with this or should i just go ahead and buy with no worries. My car has to be mod-friendly with no exceptions so this really worried me last night. I've searched on the G35 forums for about a month now and have heard nothing negative with the MREV motors. Thanks in advance.

I have another thread going in the FI forum about this. It looks like the ECU pinouts are the same for 06 and previous years (maybe with the exception of an extra pin for the exhaust timing.....not sure).
The APS TT and Greddy TT kits are supposed to work fine. The Turbonetics kit, I think, requires some charge pipe modification and I heard that there is a problem running the technosquare reflash that is meant for the kit. From what I gather, you can use a technosquare reflash on an 06 but the TN reflash is not proven to keep an acceptable AF ratio on the revup motors with the TN kit. I've also heard that you can use intake cams meant for the 03-05 motors but the exhaust cams won't work. Don't worry, though. Many companies are working on these problems and new parts should be out this year.
Miaplaya will most likely be able to answer any questions about the TN kit. I believe the 06 version is supposed to be out by summer.

I know the APS kit works on the Rev-Up. Look at Nitrouz's car. He is making 500rwhp on the stock block. I think the Rev-Up motors are better for FI because they have forged internals already. Also they do better mod for mod with bolt ons. Rev-Up cams are also going to be available soon.. just cant say from who.
