Got my letter today.

I appreciate Perf. Nissan for sending out the letters, but I would think that with the amount of business they get from My350Z.com that THEY would have been the ones to start this thread as soon as they found out about the hacking.

Had to cancel my card too. Had it long enough to have the number memorized. :-(
No bad charges though.

Yep add me to the list as well. I had two cards on file unfortunately. Needless to say this can happen to any online store, so i still have confidence in performance's upcoming site and will continue to purchase from them in the future... i ordered something over the phone just last week.

Got my letter today. Good thing I had already cancelled the card they had on file. But they stole a lot of personal information and I feel that at anytime, someone could potentially open up a new account and start spending.

Ummm, did you maybe use mynismo.com? Sister company with same issue apparently. If not, I dunno, but sincce the numbers match, cancel it.

That's a problem with credit cards in general and it sucks! But it is also the reason why you should run a credit check on yourself every year to spot these thing before it becomes a huge issue

Use the services at www.freecreditreport.com, you can run it once a year

Oh, ok. I must have missed that one.

Yep, we're worried about that too.

Oh, well. Guess that's the price we pay for the convenience of the internet.

Well, crap. Got TWO letters today, one for a card I don't even remember using with them, but guess I did. Got it taken care of; no unauthorized charges on either card.

I don't blame Performance Nissan; it was the crook's doing. I'm sure they could have done some things to be better protected, **** happens to the best of us. Live and learn.

The crook is legally responsible but their IT guy (or company) should be fired. Anybody can setup an unsecure ecommerce site. It takes a professional to do it securely.

Me too - internationally, so I'm not covered if it's compromised. Just cancelled my card and am now without the card for 11 days. Jeez.

I got THREE letters.
I had no idea I had used three different cards with them.

Called and had all three cards changed. No activity.

I'm a big fan of Performance Nissan's huge stock of toys. They've done a good job with all of my orders (including getting the LED taillights safely and way before most of you guys).

It won't tarnish this customer.

Yea, I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. Just yet another example of companies not practicing due care and due diligence when it comes to security. They'll never get my business again and everyone I know around here that USED to order from them, I'll make sure they don't get their business either.

Is any of your other personal info compromised besides cc# and address? Do these crooks have further access to say your ss# and other personal info?
