Are nissan techs IDIOTS????
Ok,
So I got my 7500 mile service done yesterday...payed my 100 bucks (yikes), got in my car right at 6pm (service door slammed behind me)... drove off and my car felt like it was falling apart. After a few miles it got worse... I was stranded so I was forced to drive it home (about 10 miles). Called nissan complaining and they said it had to be that I needed new tires, couldn't be that my wide rear tires are now on the front! This makes me so mad, I could take my car to jiffy lube and get better service!
So can I even drive my car now back to the dealer? are my wheels going to fall off or will I ruin my tires? I'm pissed!

Swapping the wheels shouldn't make that big a difference in the handeling of the car in normal driving conditions. Was it wobbly? pulling, what were the symptoms?
Without more details, I can only suggest checking the lugs to be sure they're torqued properly. Did they do an alignment?

Thats definatly more than just having the wheels at the wrong corners. Maybe if only one side was swapped so you had wider wheels on opposite corners, but still, I can't imagine that would cause uncontrolable shaking. Something is loose. If I had to guess I would say in the steering linkage, but who knows.
Again, move your wheels to the proper corners, and re-torque your lugs, and crawl under there to see if anything is dangling/not connected. If all looks OK, try a SLOW test drive to see if it helped. If not, call the dealer and get them to send a flat-bed to your house at their expense to get the car and fix the problem.
Its agravating, and shouldn't happen, but try to be calm and give the dealership a chance to make it right. If you fly off the handle from the get go, it won't be productive. I wouldn't give them more than one chance though. Hopefully you have more than on dealership around you.

I had the Nissan service dept replace my stock tires with some S-03 Pole Positions. Did they scratch each and every one of my rims? You bet they did. Even though I asked them countless times before the job if they knew what they were doing. Service Manager is now ordering a new set for me.

But their itemized list of what they perform at the 7500 mile service has "road test vehicle" as the last item. Any idiot would see such a drastic problem as is being described and wouldn't let the customer out the door until that problem was fixed! That is, any idiot that performs the work that was signed for by the customer...

I looked at the 7,500 service list of things they do... and just decided to get ONLY the oil change ($19.95 at Connell Nissan) and do the inspections either by myself or my mechanic friend.

What dealer in Atlanta, I'm in Atlanta as well, and just had my 6,500 mile or 6 month service and had no problems at Regal Nissan off of Holcomb Bridge road. The service was even free. You should take your car there, some of the service guys are charter members in the Atlanta Z club, and know their stuff.
The bolt that's on the front calipers does nothing other than line up the stock wheels. They got in the way of my volks and had to be removed. Tire size: I have 245s on the front and I have noticed little or no difference in the way the car handles. Sounds like you have something majorly F-ed up.
sounds to me they cross rotated your tires. look at the arrows on the side walls to see if they are pointed correctly. If not DO NOT DRIVE THE CAR! call the dealership, get them to flat bed it back and get new tires. The belts can seperate when run backwards and cause them to become unsafe. As to the dealership they usally have a helper/high school student to do the simple stuff. Just be glad they put the oil back in and attached a oil filter.
