It looks like that has been airbrushed on, but if I'm wrong and it's vinyl, it peels right off. Very little, if any residue if you take your time. The residue would clean off with bug/tar remover.

Remove it in the summertime after the car bakes in the sun for awhile. Very easy to remove. Like bean said bug and tar remover or just wax the car after you take it off.

it's a show car....that's what people do with show cars. You don't have to like it, the owner does.
