Default 35th Anniversary Z opinion?

I was at a dealership and they had a Black 35th Anniv. automatic Z in the showroom. Dealer said they were begging to get rid of it, and would work with any reasonable offer...I was looking to only spend around 2700 grand or so and get an enthusiast...I want Daytona Blue...Should I just take advantage of a possible good price and get the black? Are the 35th Anniv. anything that special, I have never really read to much about them. Thanks!

If it is not the car that you want then it is worth $00,000.00.

Skip the 35th and go for the new '06 model - regardless of how low they drop the price.
The '06 has improvements over the previous years and represents the most updated version of the Z.
If you like the '06, you'll be sorry if you get the 35th.

I find that colour is an after thought to anything else when considering a car. I've only ever owned black cars - almost exclusively (both of my z32's were black). However, I ran across a deal with my now silverstone z33 and I couldn't be happier.

To each their own though - we can't make up your mind for you.

I have a Silverstone 35th Anniversary and I love it, but if you want a DB then go for it. Life is too short to settle for 2nd best. The 2006 has almost everything that the 35th has plus the new lights (which IMHO look great). Nissan did a terrible job of badging on the 35th so unless you are a true 350Z freak you cannot even tell that it is special issue vehicle.

The only external badging is the ring around the "Z" side marker. The 35th is brass colored and the others are silver colored. Not to mention you can buy the markers from anybody to make everyone think it is a 35th.
