it would be cool.....and yes if i did that i would make it like a drift car or somthin like that and buy my old G35 back so i can have that as a every day driver.....

They use the vq 35 copy and paste the link and close the gap between the t and the e

Actually, youre right...I was thinking of the GT500 class where they use VQ30DETT....the GT300 clas does in fact use VQ35DE

Do a search and you'll see Chris Forsburg's swap on this site. the first one done.
The Super GT/JGTC cars don't use the SR20 because they have to use current production engines to compete, the SR20 was used in the past for the GT300 class and was built by Toda Racing.
The VG30 was never used in JGTC. The current cars use, as stated above, a VQ30DETT in the GT500m and the VQ35DE in the GT300.
The swap will save about 200 lbs off the front end, and if this was going to be a track car, I will say go for it.
