Default considering a 350Z, need help

Hi,
I am currently in the market for a new car. I WAS considering either a RSX-s or a Mini Cooper S. Well, that was until I test drove the new 350Z, I was blown away. I was planning on staying in the $23k price range. I'm wondering if I should stretch my budget & go for the 350.
What I want to know from current owners is:
- Are there any common problems that have come up on the 350Z?
- Could you please give me your overall impressions of the car, likes/dislikes.
Any feedback will be appreciated.
Thanks

if you do a search you can get a ton of information on what you want to know.

only problem i had with the car was the stereo which they fixed by replacing the amp.

as for your other choices if you were considering an rsx-s you may want to consider a G35 coupe since its rather roomy.

as for price the cars gonna run you 30 at least you dont want a base without the VDC because without traction control the car is almost undrivable in the snow and rain. almost to point were its dangerous if you dont know what your doing.

my friend who also was looking at a rsx-s went with a G35 coupe cost him 32500 out the door not loaded of course but with leather and 4 seats

Well if you look in the forum. You will see minor problems. But my Z has 3400 flawless miles. One important thing about the car is never drive it in the snow with the stock tires! If you plan to get all season. You do get alot for the money though.

its not that bad without TCS, but I think enthusiast is the better package. but if you cant afford it, its no reason to not get the car at all.

common problems would be tire wear and orange peel. there are less common trans grinding, alighnment, but I know the rsx has a few problems of its own. and the mini, Im sure there are problems. you just have to look. just remeber as you look over the complaints that there are like 12000Zs out there, and theres over 100Z on this site, only a few have any problems at all. as it is for almost any car.

hope this helps.

on the orange peel front ares.

the infiniti g35,s also had it in the showroom.

not to get into the whole orange peel argument again but its looking more and more like a by product of todays paint compositions since ive seen it on just abought every car.

and i agree with you on TCS you dont need it you just have to be carefull without

all cars definitly have it, some Zs are worse than others, and I wish I didnt have it.

but youll never hear me complaining, see... when I put the pedal down and hear the tires scream for mercy at 20mph, I just dont have a chance to notice the reflection in the hood is a little spotty.
