Anyone know what the crash ratings are for the coupe and for the roadster?

that's rough dude, i'm an insurance adjuster, i can tell you thats not that bad, pending on how hard the color is to match, they will only paint the new door, the quarter panel (after about a 7 hr rpr job, just going off the pics, it might need more) and will blend into the fender, from the pics it doesnt look like the fender is that messed up, it may need a couple hrs repair, and last your rocker panel will get painted, but thats it. they would be waisting money if they painted the entire car. they should be able to blend w/in the panels. you shouldnt be w/out your baby for that long. if they get the door in quick, i would say its about a week repair, but thats just going off of the pics, could take longer. no more than two weeks, or i would worry about the shop its getting repaired at....

wow.. I'm sorry about the accident.

Hope everyone involved is okay.
Def, claim with insurance. Get a JDM kit and all necessary hardware.

At least get it fixed to your expectations.

Cheers,
Allen

Its nice to see that you are posting in person, fixing a body is infinitly more difficult then replacing a door or fender. Although your pics were very disturbing.

I would think twice before dropping anymore money into the vehicle now that your vin# has been logged with an accident it will always lower the value of the car. When I traded in my last car for the Z, I took a beating on my trade because some a$$ couldnt stop in time and rear ended me. Just something to keep in mind.
