I'm assuming that nothing has changed btw '05 and '06 regarding the trans/clutch since this is occuring..is that right guys? I read somewhere that they're still on the CD0009 version or something like that.

At least u dont have to deal with the problem the 03-05 owners have, an annoying noise AFTER you release the clutch...

My guess is they will never fix your problem and u will have to live with it.

When does the noise occur? Does it occur while the clutch is depressed or not depressed. When my clutch is not depressed, I have a very minor hissing/friction noise. It goes away if I depress the clutch.

I get noise lifting off clutch as well, if I do it to quick, or am not off of gas completley, its like you got to ease the clutch off or you get a 'click'.

I got the noise when i depress it almost down to end. also has it when it's release. they said they will get problem to be fixed. but from the problem u said, When your clutch is not depressed, you have a very minor hissing/friction noise. It goes away if you depress the clutch. actually, i got this problem also, dealer said its normal, no need to fix it. what an annoying noise!!!! with me forever...

i think most of the Z clutrches make a clunk noise when you depress it, especially before the engine is warmned up. after 5 min or so i dont hear it...and its only when stopped

i guess it's your throwout bearing rattle at idle....all Z's do that ...nothing to worry about.

i have the same thing. i have a squeaking noise when I release the clutch (8000 miles on my Z). it comes and goes.. but it is soooo annoying!! i went to the dealer but there were not able to reproduce the noise. So I have a few squeaks like 2-3 times a week. hopefuly I will have it with my next dealer visit

it seems most Z folks suffer the same wonderful noisy problem as i do, maybe just get used to it as to be natural.

I only have 200 miles on my Z and it sometimes makes that clunking noise when depressing the clutch. I think that's normal.

I went to the dealership for the 3rd time with my noise. finally they were able to duplicate the noise. they ordered my the clutch pedal assembly - and that is supposed to work.

I had a sqeaking noise when I was releasing the clutch pedal. the noise in my opinion was comming from the engine compratment.

I will see next thursday if it works...
