Default I fear the next fast and furious

Ok here’s my thought on what might happen after the third fast and stupid movie comes out. I guess its suppose to be about drifting and such. Does everyone remember what happened after the first fast and stupid?... There was a explosion of ricers "tricking" out there front wheel drive Hondas with big wings and fart can exhaust. Here’s my fear, from what Iv seen from some posts on here, the Z will be in this movie. I love my car and do everything top of the line on it. I fear after this movie comes out there will be a explosion of little spoiled kids that will be riceing out our beloved car, giving us a bad name. May the car god help us all..

I drive home from work, it is 5 miles. In those 5 miles, I saw 3 350Z's, all of them riced out, decals, big wings, thus expect it to be worse once the movie comes out.

I drove home in shame feeling riced out myself, guilt by association....

I tend to think that the Z is a little bit out of the range for most kiddies parents to buy them. The Civic is cheap in comparison and you can slap on some mods on it pretty cheaply. Anyone ricing out a Z should be shot immediatly and thier family should be charged for the price of the bullet!

Very few Zs around where I live. And I'm almost positive I'm the youngest guy around here with one(23). However, I've already seen the explosion of 240s coming out. And with it being a "drifto" movie, kids are gonna say, oh, that looks cool, I'm gonna do it. Then they will die, possibly taking someone else with them. IMO.

+1, plus, i think the z has a certain class about it. it's not a ferrari, but it's a car that most can appreciate in stock form. even certain good and tasty mods can ruin a z. but when it comes to a civic, any mod is an upgrade; even if the mod is worth ****t.

It cost to much to fix up the Z the right way. Thats why all the ricers have good feedback on there ebay account. I dont know if you guyes have looked at 350z stuff on ebay but there is alot of cheapo knockoffs.

This movie might not effect things as people here are speculating.
The first movie was something new and caused a streak of interest in the younger crowd.
When the second movie came out I don't remember really hearing to much from anyone about it and I definately don't remember the wave of ricers on the streets like there was after the first film.
I went to see MI:III the other day and there was a preview for FF3 before the movie. These two young kids behind me said something like, "there's going to be another one "
I think after FF2 the movie has lost it's attraction and novelty. It's like The Matrix. The first movie was awesome and novel. Everyone anticipated the release of the second movie and after that you hardly heard anything about the third movie when it came out.

Yes we will all be guilt by association after that I'm afraid. I'm not looking foward to it.

Whoo...wait... huh? That whole series was a continuing story, not like jaws, that had 50 different versions of the same shark dying. F&F is the same as jaws... a kid wants into the scene, falls for the badass leaders lil sis, and he becomes a hero...

Three different versions of how the ricer wins... lol...

I'm hoping for even more respect when i pull up in the Z... if it made my value go up, shwing, if it draws more attention to the sexy z, shwing. Outside of that, it's a little outta the price range for everyday ricers, IMO. I mean really, they already have ricer bs for the Z. Pull up ebay, search 350z, and check out some of those tailight setups...

We didn't see too many Riced out EVO's and Eclise Spyders from FF2. I hope the cost of the Z prevents ricers from getting it.

I just don't want to see the 350 start getting a bunch of tasteless mods. by the younger generation. I must admit the thread about your age when you bought your Z SHOCKED me as far younger owners. I'm impressed at all the young owners who have modded there Z's very nicely like you all have. It has just gotten out of hand with the Hondas with body kits since FF1. I'm just afraid it might get pushed overboard with Z now. Though I enjoy watching drifting, I hate to think it will be the new fad on our city streets after the shows debut.

people were modding honda's tacky long before F&F. I don't see this movie hurting anything.
