So is that article saying that the Track model doesn't have an adjustment for height, but the Touring model (with power seats) does?

Yes. Makes no sense considering both cars have a 6-way driver's seat just one is powered.

Kroams I am in canada so the choices are different but you are right all models have atleast 6 way height it says it in the specs. See this is why i am confused until i sit in it for real.

WOOHOO!!! Zisme just responded to my article on Zcar.com and good news!!

"Manual seats also have a height adjustment. Manual adjustment is on the side of the seat. Forbes was wrong."

I remember reading that the power seats were only 4 way adjustable while the manuals are 6 way. Anyone read anything about Lumbar support?

Does that mean we chumps who purchased the Touring model are being screwed with no height adjustment?? If so, thanks Nissan for being so thoughtful. I guess when you pay less, sometimes you get more. Makes no sense but whadda ya gonna do.

I read somewhere that on the touring the seats have a 4 way power adjustment and a 2 way manual adjustment. Im pretty sure the touring gets the height adjustment as well. It will probably be manual.

No. What he means is that manual seats ALSO have height adjustments, in addition to Touring models having them. According to Zisme, Forbes was wrong in listing as Touring models the ONLY ones having the height adjustments.

if possible would someone take their video camera and move the height adjustment up and down and tape it so we can see. Then this discussion will be a thing of the past.

either forbes is wrong are they are right. Forbes had a track version to play with and maybe they are trying to tell us that no 350z version has a height adjustment cause if the track model has what the others have then I don't think forbes people would be that stupid. I don't know what to say.

ZISME says all 350Z driver seats have a height adjustment and considering he works for NNA you should 100% trust him over some Forbes reviewer.

i only semi trust him cause if u look at the pictures of the interior its just a tilt mechanism and unless its a new design or something it won't give u much height. I have a 2002 altima and it has 2 ***** one raises the front of the seat and the other tilts the back part up.

Guys: I think it has been pretty much beaten to death that everyone who has already sat in the car has had NO PROBLEM seeing in front. Will you be able to rest your arm on the window sill NO, but you'll be able to rest it on the arm rest and to see over the front of the car.

If I can't rest my arm on the window sill, I'm cancelling my order.

Forbes said "...since this smallish driver (5' 8") could only just get comfortable at the wheel and might opt for a model with electric seats just to be able to raise the perch to a less low-rider height."

And I'm not 5'8" ; I"m 5'5", so I am justifiably concerned. I would just like to know once and for all if the damn seats do in fact have height adjustments.

But, even if the seats don't have height adjustments, I will still buy the car. I will then have to unbolt the seats, use wood or metal spacers, replace the bolts with longer ones and reinstall the seats. A real pain the *** (no pun intended).
